Arkansas' general-revenue collections in July inched up by almost $1 million from the same month a year ago to $467.8 million, but they fell short of the state's forecast by $8.2 million. Even though individual income-tax revenue exceeded the projection, July's general revenue lagged behind the forecast because of lower-than-expected collections of corporate income taxes and sales and use taxes, the state Department of Finance and Administration said Tuesday in its monthly revenue report.
